Quilt Shop Friendliness
Every quilt shop has its own personality, and there is a quilt shop out there for everyone. I personally love Quilting Connection in Ames, Iowa. Jeanne and her employees are wonderful. I always feel like I'm a part of their family. It is for this reason that I always feel comfortable bringing the kids into the store, too. Henry was there when he was two weeks old, but it took me a little longer to get the girls there! On Saturday, when Goldie, Virginia, and I were running errands, I needed a good place to feed them. So, I planned the errands so that I would end up at the shop at just the right time! Everyone was thrilled to see them. Janelle and Mary helped me feed them.
I told Jeanne since her employees were taking a "break" she could put me to work. While my hands were free I did find some fun Halloween fabrics and cherry fabrics to buy.

I too love the Quilting Connection. Jeanne has assembled a terrific, loyal staff.

Congrats on the new job. I want to wish you the best. I list the Quilting Connection in Ames as a must stop. They are always so happy and friendly. Enjoy all the time you can spend with the family.

What a sweet picture with the ladies. I wouldn't imagine you would have any shortage of volunteers to feed those little cuties in a quilt shop!

Heidi, it was great to have you visit with your sweet little girls. It was the highlight of our day that Saturday. Hope to see you all again soon (Henry, too!)
