If you come back to visit me on a regular basis, you'll probably see lots of John Deere. Just like I am an avid quilter and collector of fabric, my husband is an avid John Deere collector. I love the passion that he has for the tractors, as I can relate to it. The tractors are something we can also enjoy together. You're saying what? you enjoy tractors? Yes, each year we go on the Great Iowa Tractor Ride sponsored by WHO radio. We have so much fun. I love it for so many reasons...but I'm getting sidetracked. I'll come back to the tractor ride another day.

Our fondness for everything green has rubbed off on our son, Henry. So, when we attended the Iowa State Fair this year and found John Deere boots--it was a good day. On Sunday after wearing them to church, he had to lounge in Dad's chair with them on. I couldn't resist a picture. He would leave them on 24/7 if we let him.
