The Great Pumpkin
When Fall arrives there are so many things to look forward to. Cooler weather, colorful trees (Maples are my favorite), soup, harvest, and, of course, pumpkins. Jeff's Aunt Janet lives a mile to the North of us and grows all of the pumpkins and gourds we could ever need. So today after church we stopped to get some. On the way to her house, Henry was already planning on where they would sit next to him in the back of our Explorer. So, the hunt began. When I asked him which one he wanted, this was his reaction.

But soon, he found some he liked and it was fun to roll them over...only to discover they were wet on the bottom from the morning dew.

And, then there were the little ones to buy.

Stay tuned for what to do with your pumpkins!

I know what I would say... I want them ALL!

It astounds me how very different pumpkins are on this side of the world. They are not at all like those giant orange ones!

Henry is adorable - and must have been so excited...there's something about pumpkins which just makes a person happy.

I love these kinds of photos because they are just so 'kid'! Who doesn't love the Pumpkin Patch? I can't believe how big he's getting ... love the shirt ... it's fun to see him all dolled up!
