Oh Happy Day, oh Happy Day...
I can hear the song playing over and over in my head...Oh Happy Day, oh Happy day. I believe it was in the movie with Whoppi and the school choir. Anyone know that movie? Or the song? But, when I see these smiling faces, that is what I think. Virginia is on the left and Goldie is on the right.

I took the kids to Ames to get a few groceries at Target...that means whatever we can jam in the basket on the bottom of the stroller and in a smaller carry-along basket. Luckily my friend Julie happened to be there and she helped us get a few extra things to the check-out lane. I can't wait to put the girls in their new cherry swimsuits. I would love this swimsuit for me if I was younger, thinner, and cuter! But their cubby legs are going to look adorable in these suits. Henry picked out a very handsome swimsuite of brown and teal with surf boards. Nice choice.
Then we took my wedding band to the jeweler. Since having Henry I haven't been able to wear it. Then didn't wear it when I was pregnant with the girls. Well, I'm ready to get it back on my hand, and obviously my knuckles aren't getting smaller. So, they are making it bigger and I will be able to wear it again.
And, of course, a trip to Ames would not be complete without a trip to the Quilting Connection. It was so nice to see everyone, as it's been awhile since I've been there. Henry played with the toys and watched the trains so by. The girls and I searched for black fat quarters and gold fat quarters (for the Funny Farm Quilt)...found a few! And, I couldn't resist Sandy Gervais new pink and brown line--so sweet.
A quick run through the Micky D's drive through and off to home. Henry asked to take a picture with his sisters...so I had to take advantage of that.

Heidi, the girls are absolutely adorable - and the picture with Henry is priceless! The movie, BTW, is "Sister Act" with Whoopie Goldberg!

That's it! Now we just need to come up with the song!
It is so hard to believe the girls will be 10 months old tomorrow. Where does the time go?

Hi Heidi, It's also possible it's Sister Act II and the name of the song is "Oh Happy Day".
The girls are so sweet with their cheeks and smiles. The cheeks remind me of my nephews, who is just weeks older than Virginia and Goldie.
Thanks for sharing!

Cherry swimsuits? Ooooh, wonder if they have one in my size! Your girls are adorable. We got a little of that white fluffy stuff up here too; spent the afternoon shoveling the driveway. I'm ready for spring too!
