Sights and Sounds of Paducah
Happy May Day to all!
Where did April go? I suppose with three birthdays, two quilt shows, a Stampin Up party, and work it went a little fast. I'm going to try and catch you up with a little of what has been going on at the Kaisand house.
Last week I was in Paducah, KY, for the AQS annual show. The quilts were incredible as always. I got to visit Carol Bryer Fallert in her Paducah studio. She quilts on an APQS George.

I enjoyed the budding trees and flowers.

And, when we went out for dinner at one of the many nice restaurants in Paducah we were serenaded by a group of young high school men. I used the movie button on my camera and I could play it back, but I can't figure out to share it with you. Any one know what I'm suppose to do??
Of course, a trip to a quilt show is never complete without seeing friends--new and old. Here I am with buddy Roseann Kermes. Gotta love the halo around my head!

What a month! Here's what I do to share a video, hope it helps! I connect my camera to my computer (with a USB cord or other camera port - the same way you'd download regular pictures). Save the file to your computer. I use youtube.com. Once you create an account and are signed in, you have the option to upload a video. There will be a browse button where you can find and select the video file from your computer. Click upload. After it's uploaded (it sometimes takes awhile depending on the length of the video), there will be an embedding code that you can copy and paste into your blog. When people view your blog, there will be a neat little youtube video frame where your visitors can click play to watch your video. I've done this twice so far on my blog and has worked really well. Feel free to email me if you have any questions! Good luck!
