Here Fishy, Fishy
In 2002, after nearly 5 years of looking for a house in the country, Jeff and I decided to take the plunge and build a house. But, before that could be done, the pond had to be created. So in September of 2003, after we had acquired the land, the dam for the pond was built. The land where we live is land that Jeff grew up on. His mother tells how Jeff and his younger brother Jared loved to camp about where our pond is today. The land is filled with natural springs and is often wet, even in the driest of times. Jeff was confident that a pond would fill quickly and stay full. When the dirt movers rolled in that September to sculpt the pond out, it was amazing to watch how the water immediately began to fill. It took about six weeks for them to get all of the work done, and by then the pond was filling on it's own. By the first part of November, the pond was already about 12 feet deep at it's deepest point (it was completely full by March 2004 and is about 18 feet deep at that same point now). So, then it came time to add the fish---blue gill, bass, and walleye.
We've had so much fun already in this pond--all year long. Henry catches walleyes with Snoopy bobbers. If I'm on the porch I can "talk" to anyone on the pond, unless the wind is blowing. The wildlife is wonderful...we're currently watching Ma and Pa Canada Goose and five baby gosslings. There was lots of ice fishing this winter.
Now that the pond is established, we decided to add some more fish to the pond. Larry from the fish hatchery came this week to delivery more walleye and some croppies.

I liked it. So much useful material. I read with great interest. Baby products were the same for the longest time, and then suddenly everything changed.
