Busy Elves
From 6 a.m. to into the wee hours this morning, my guests were busy sewing, eating, and shopping. Teresa said it was like a rhythem--sew, eat, shop, sew, eat, shop. And, every one seemed to fall into it just fine. We awoke to a skiff of snow on the ground and chilly temperatures, but nothing to worry about. Santa had been good to us and brought our family tradition of Christmas bread for morning and Grandma's chicken and biscuts for supper. We decorated cookies and opened (and stole) gifts in a friendly gift game. Colleen demonstrated how to make a cell phone bag at 11:45 p.m. Yes, p.m. It's now nearly 7 a.m. and only three of us are up and sewing. Where are the rest? I do hear some stirring in the room above us. I better get busy, as I have binding to put on a quilt this morning.

Little did I know that the Colleen mentioned in this post is "my" Colleen!

It sure was fun getting to know Colleen, Jacque, and Donna Jo. I can't wait to come visit the shop.
