We had to go home!
It's always hard to go home after a weekend of fun, but we all had to leave the retreat and go back to reality. My job of pampering these quilters was done. One guest asked, "Who will put a present on my table Monday morning?" And, others noted that they felt like they were in heaven for two days.
Here is my group of quilters showing just a few of their weekend projects.
Jacque was working on this beautiful Irish Chain for her daughter's wedding.
Jolyn sewed this bed-size quilt for a grandson. She e-mailed me on Tuesday that the top was done and she was putting it on the long-arm machine to quilt. Wow! She gets so much done.
I'll be announcing the 2009 retreat dates later this week.
