I am thankful for...
Although we should remember daily to be thankful for so much in our lives, this week brings being thankful to the foreground.
Henry came home from pre-school with a book of things he is thankful for.

I am thankful for...
My family. We are blessed with three beautiful children that all have wonderful spirits. I must share two Henry stories. On Saturday night we had our dear friends Doc and Jo over for supper. After supper she and I were in Henry's room getting pajamas on the kids. Henry said "When I turn 7 I won't have to wear pajamas anymore because then I can just wear underwear to bed like Daddy." (I know Jeff is just cringing that I'm telling this...but it is so precious. He so wants to be like his daddy. And, I told Jeff thank goodness you wear underwear!)
He also made me so proud when he told us that at church the previous week when Aunt Janet took him because Jeff was combining and I was hosting a retreat, that he invited Doc and Jo to sit with them in the church pew. I thought this showed such kindness and thoughtfulness. He made his mother proud.
I'll share more things I'm thankful for throughout the week.

I agree..........children are such a blessing!! Henrys thoughts are so precious!! My daughter is 28 now.......but thought I would share one of her stories because it always makes me smile....she and her younger brother were in the back seat of the car and we were driving to get icecream cones. She was holding the money (a five dollar bill), she held it up and told her brother "This is Abraham Lincoln (turned it over and said) and this is the bank he used to work at!"
