A Busy Calendar
The month of December is filled with social events. Beginning with the APQS Christmas party this past Friday night. The company makes the event very family oriented, with gifts and games for kids of all ages. I was one of the first employees that got my name drawn for a door prize, so I took Henry with me to pick one out. We got the SF football team stocking cap. Henry wore it the rest of the night. Including when he frosted a cookie.

The girls had so much fun watching all of the other kids run and play. Virginia found the balloons to be quite fun.

After a day on Saturday of helping cousin Karen do some long-arm quilting, we headed to Cedar Falls to drop Henry and Jeff off at the UNI football game. While they cheered the Panthers on, the girls and I drove a little further to see cousin Anne and Stephanie. They decided to give Goldie and Virginia their Christmas present a little early! Goldie, who didn't want to take her coat off, gave the dino a try!

Of course there has been more quilting. This is the second cherry quilt I'm working on.

Now it's off to the church for soup supper and the white elephant gift exchange!

I love the cheery cherry quilt!! And the kids are cute as always. I can see you are going to have a really fun Christmas morning coming up! Ah, I remember that look on my little ones faces when they saw what Santa had brought. That's been a few years, well, many years, actually, but seems like yesterday when I look at old pictures. Kids are a joy!!!!
