Follow-up on the 2nd Birthday

Every free moment I've had this weekend I've been going through the images that Perry took on Friday. There are so many good ones!! With the help of Memory Manager I can change them into black-and-white or sepia tone in a matter of seconds. I can't wait to do some scrapbook pages with them. I'm even thinking about a little book to document when they turned two.

There were lots of wonderful moments this weekend, but Henry cutting the cake on Friday night will remain at the top for years to come.

Note in the photo how large the piece is that he's cutting. I was busy taking pictures and he took it upon himself to start cutting the cake. We all quickly figured out that he wanted the gum drop flowers for himself. And he was just going to cut pieces until he got to them. With a little help from Grandma McNutt, Henry went on to cut and serve cake for all of us at the table. Even our friend Lloyd (Doc to all of us) was impressed with his cutting skills. Henry did get the gum drops on his piece. He managed to each them and a little cake, then was full.
I could share lots of photos from Perry's work on Friday (and will), but for today, I will end with this moody shot of Goldie. Perry had just arrived and was unpacking all of his equipment. She was checking out him and his stuff. This shot also looked great in sepia tone.
