Candy Anyone?
Last night my friend Jo and I took the kids to the Hardin County Fair Parade in Eldora. Wow! I've never seen so much food given away in a parade. Yes, the usual tootsie rolls were thrown. But Twinkies? Yes! And, popsicles and ice cream bars. Yes! We actually turned some down. Needless to say the kids were having fun.
Goldie is not letting go of her pencil while she eats her lollipop. And, we've got a piece of candy waiting in the other hand.
Virginia is telling us that something is coming...while the popsicle drips down her chin and the bag of candy doesn't get far from her side.

Candy from the parade line is just one of the many perks of living in a small town. We never got popsicles, though. Looks like it was fun.
