Feeling Like a Queen
Last night at 5 p.m. we kicked off the 2009 Hen and Chicks Queen for a Weekend Retreat. The last 30 hours have been fun-filled for sure!
The guests arrived and claimed their sewing spots with their name tags.

We are inspired by the country-themed hotel decorations. (This hotel sits at the entrance of Living History Farms in Urbandale, Iowa.) When I look up from my sewing machine this is what I see.

The food and snacks have been plentiful.

The quilters are getting younger all the time!
4-month-old Catherine

Domestic sewing machines have been humming...the APQS long-arm quilting has completed 8 quilts so far. Lots of show-and-tell to come.
