Geese in Formal Wear?
The Iowa State Fair is not without it's amazements...like the Big Bull topping out at a record of 3404 pounds. But, I must say this was a first for me...geese in formal wear? What was the event? Was someone getting married? Were they headed to the concert? I hear it was Peter Frampton. Was the party serving a full meal or just a few snacks or maybe a dessert buffet? Do geese have a curfew, or can they stay out late? Would there be a chaperone? Were geese coming from other farms, or was this the party on webbed wheels?
Hmmmmm, I think those geese look like royalty, perhaps Dukes and Duchesses of the Golden Egg Order that were on their way to the Minnesota Rennaissance Festival and stopped off at the Iowa State Fair first.
Couldn't resist that attempt at humor. Earlier I was reading the local news and saw that the Rennaissance Festival opens this weekend. That was the first thing I thought of when I saw those geese. Made me laugh!
