We Rested
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
This verse was listed amongst a group of quotes appropriate for Labor Day, but as I read it this morning I new it was intended for me! After a long week and a very restless night Friday night, everyone in our house slept soundly last night. There's nothing better than a good night's rest to keep us all going.
A farmer's work is never done. Yesterday, it was time to bale more hay. The girls and I went to help, although I can't say we helped much. The boys had it under control.
But there were birds to watch.
And moments to capture on film and in my heart.

I always love seeing the kid pictures, that one of Father and Son is so wonderful, and little girl knees in their Hello Kitty boots.. all so precious.

I can smell the hay in the photo at the top. The photo of Henry and his dad is precious.
