One Table, One Great Place
Food is important to me! First I like it, second I have a food and nutrition degree and I appreciate a good meal! When I'm traveling I always enjoy new places and new experiences. While in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, these past couple of days on APQS business, my friend Roseann Kermes suggested lunch at Margaux's Table.
A French trained chef with a desire to keep things fresh and fun--this place is a must-stop if you're in the area. There's one table for 12 and everyone sits together. There was talk of taking boats out for the approaching winter and her Dad stopped by for a sandwich. I couldn't help but feel like I was in her kitchen and we'd been good friends for years.
I devoured the roast pork on focaccia with braised red cabbage, lettuce, and tomatoes. And, I easily could have licked the bowl dry of autumn squash soup. (Don't worry, I didn't, I did remember I was in public.)
You'll find Margaux's Table at 4746 Washington Square in White Bear Lake. She even does picnic baskets for the lake. Call her at 651-387-7903.

I am like you....I love food! I love to eat it, cook it, shop for it, read about it, etc!! I live to eat, not eat to live!!! Fun post!

I heard Roseann mention Margaux's Table and thought about going there for lunch on Friday. Opted instead to head over to my son's place. I enjoyed your demo of Lenni and George. I have to give this some serious thought but I felt like I "clicked" with Lenni.

Heidi you do a fabulous job of taking your subjects. Keep it up and you will be a photographer for magazines/books. You have so much talent. I don't know how you do all so very well.
