Challenge

The last couple of writing assignments for my JessicaSprague.com class have been challenging. I'm inspired by the challenge, but definitely will be working on technique! But, in the meantime, I've challenged myself to create with my StoryBook Creator Plus. FUN! FUN! FUN! My latest creation is below.

Just as this class is coming to a close, I'm starting a new journaling class with Ali Edwards at Big Picture Scrapbooking.com. I'm hoping all of this good brain stimulation makes the upcoming 10-day trip to International Quilt Market and Festival go fast. The trip is such mixed emotions for me. I love seeing all my quilting friends, beautiful quilts, and the latest and greatest in quilting products (which I will report on). But, I miss my family...I enjoy the mundane things that we do everyday in our house, so being gone 10 days is really tough. Not to dwell on....instead, we're going to make the most of every moment before and after the trip--and while I'm away.

Here's layout 5 for the Type + Writer class. Layout 6 is swimming in my head...now to create it.

Heidi, that is so neat! I am trying to figure out what type of class you are taking though?

Heidi: I want to thank you so much for the lovely candlemat and beaded votive with scented candle that I won in your blog giveaway. I tresure it and have just posted a photo of it sitting on my recent fall/winter/christmas quilt "Dancing Stars"
I don't know where you find the time for all your activities - you must be so busy with your lovely young family.
I love the pictures of Henry, and your darling twin daughters.
