This quote really spoke to me today. Many of you have been following my progress in the Type + Writer class at jessicasprague.com. I don't consider myself the best writer or the most knowledgeable scrapbook layout person...but I AM motivated. The class as been a real inspiration this past 2 weeks.
But do you want to know what REALLY motivated me. (I'm going to tell you the real truth, the secret behind the hidden door.) Are you ready for the truth? It might be shocking.
I got to write in the coolest notebook!
My most creative friend Roseann Kermes thought my journal for my class needed a little help. So while I was doing the APQS Roadshow at her workshop, she covered both my class and work notebooks. Isn't she the BEST friend in the whole wide world? I think so. And, I get to walk around feeling so creative!
Who couldn't enjoy writing in one of these books. Here's her post about making these creative journals. I'm thinking that I might need to get a few friends together and make some for the holidays. What a nice hostess gift it would make. Perfect for a teacher. Oh, the potential is huge. And, I have plenty of scrapbook paper on my shelves to use.

I made personalized journals for all the girls in my family last Christmas. It was a fun gift to make. I wonder if they're using them!

Those are cool but i don't see how she made them.
Sounds like more rain coming tonite. I put some geraniums in pots so i could bring them inside. Can't believe its October already!

I would like to know how to do this...I have done some covering (mostly bookmaking), but would like to know exactly how you have done these. Maybe you could tell me in church! Or whatever...
I do love paper!! My weakness since I was a very little girl!
