Day 2 of Things to be Thankful For

Yesterday I was thankful for farmers to have the chance to harvest. The fall has been so wet and finally there's a break in the rain. From sunrise, well past dark last night, I could hear the sounds of combines picking corn, tractors pulling wagons to town, and the hum of dryers running. The girls and I had to run to Marshalltown last night and the landscape was filled with extra lights. When it's time to go, you go.

After several repairs, Jeff is running on our corn. I pray for a productive and safe day of harvesting today.
