This past Saturday was a very exciting first for me--teaching a quilt class using my own pattern Echo. Shop owner Stephanie was a sweetheart to work with, right down to the yummy donut holes she served after my lecture on Friday night. Although my original quilt was black-and-white with lime green, not everyone chose that colorway. How exciting to see the block come alive in variations of brown and blue, black and cream, and a host of accent colors.
Are you looking for a fun class to offer at a guild meeting or quilt club? Be sure to contact me at heidi@heidikaisand.com to lock in a date in 2010 or 2011.

This is just lovely, it has the look of a very old turn of the century piece! Just Beautiful!
