Packages in the mail
Receiving packages in the mail is always fun. This time of year its things I've ordered for gifts to give to family. The Christmas cards from friends and family are filling the mailbox (although we didn't get mail this week for two days because of the blizzard). But when something arrives in the mail that you weren't expecting, at least not that particular day, it's SO fun.
For a past birthday I received a cute card from my friend Peggy. I loved the cupcake and knew she had made it herself. My order was placed...and this past week three little cupcakes showed up in the mail. They are as sweet as the frosting on a real cupcake. Now what to do with them. Sew them to a t-shirt for the girls birthday in April? Make birthday quilts for the girls and use one on each of them?
Then came a package I was expecting, but was charmed by its contents! More Hen and Chicks Quilt Studio charms to sell. This time Missy put some clear crystal beads on charms. Be sure to visit my shopping cart and purchase one for yourself or a fellow chicken fan.
