One Week and Counting

Christmas is just one week away. I can hardly wait. The holiday season is going too fast. We've already had the church program and the caroling party. The APQS company party was a fun evening. Yesterday I delivered some perishable holiday gifts and I think finished our shopping. Today it's Henry's class singing at a local bank. Tomorrow it's cookie baking with friends. The next week is going to go too fast. At the end of each day I find looking at the Christmas tree in awe. I just love it!

What a beautiful Xmas tree - how high are your ceilings and where did you find a tree this size...

The ceiling in our main room is 24 feet at the peak. Our house is designed to be like a barn. This is the room we live in...it's the center of the house. This tree is 9 feet. I bought it at a local Earl May garden center. It's not like the old days were we'd go to a tree farm. The one I'd gone to for years since getting married sold the land to a developer and now there are houses among the trees. I like the Frazier furs and not everyone carries them. But Earl May delivers the tree so that's a plus...don't have to try and figure out how to get it in the Explorer.
