Good Bye Chicago, Hello Paducah

International Quilt Festival in Chicago ended on Sunday. My bag came home a little more full than when I went. Attic Heirlooms , shown above, had lovely stack of wool and bundles of colorful roving, below.

Had to chuckle when we went for dinner at a pizzeria and got a pizza slice that blinked red and green when our table was ready.

The show had beautiful quilts, like this detail of a quilt by Denise Havlan. See the entire quilt here .

And, of course, my eye was drawn to my favorite flower, the iris. It makes me ready for mine to bloom.

So, I've washed and dried and re-packed the suitcase and am headed for Paducah! I'll be posting quilts and photos from the show!

Ooooooh! I see lots of wool that I would love to have in the pics of Attic Heirlooms booth. I checked out their site and blog.
