Henry's Big Bed Quilt Update
At the beginning of the year, I started a new quilt for Henry. He saw me working on it and asked often about its progress. During my Hen and Chicks quilt retreat in March, I finished the top.

I then sent it to Karie Dynan, an APQS Millennium owner, to put the finishing touches on the quilt. She and I chatted on the phone about what I wanted and didn't want for quilting on the top. When the quilt arrived home last week I couldn't have been more thrilled with the results! She did an awesome job. Check out these detail photos of the quilt top.

There is Minky on the back and look how well the quilting pops off the quilt back. I thought it looked like bridges connecting farm fields together.

The best end result is kids snugglying under the quilt!

The quilting is just perfect and it does make one think of bridges and farmfields. The picture of all the kids under the quilt is really cute, especially Henry. That smile says "this quilt is all mine".

What a beautiful quilt, and a darling photo of the three little ones snug as bugs underneath it! I made my son a quilt when he was about 13 and he loves it to this day. It sits on top his bed in his apartment.
