It's Spring in Iowa

Many things could be said about Spring in Iowa. A welcome relief from the cold and snow of winter. A breathe of fresh air blowing through the open windows. Baby lambs and calves frolicing through the pastures turning bright green after a long brown winter. The opening of quilt show season. Working the fields in preparation for planting. Planting of the corn and beans. The kids' birthdays. I've been collecting my favorite springtime photos and will let them tell you about our Spring.

I liked the last picture the best, although the one with all the fish on the line reminded me of the time my dad took our son fishing along the Des Moines River. They caught a whole string like that and the day was such a good one that my son can still remember it.

Wow! Heidi, you make a great Wonder Woman. Maybe your next venture will be in the movies. I just love what your eye sees through the lenses. Nice job.
