Happy Mother's Day to All
Today marks a special day--Mother's Day. And, although it's certainly fun to mark the occasion with cards, gifts, and special hugs, I remind myself that I should be telling my mother how important she is every day, not just on Mother's Day. You're important to me, Mom! What would I do without her?
My thoughts today have me looking back at the role models that helped pave the way for me to be hopefully a good mother today. I chose three pictures where the ages of my mother, me, and my girls were similar.
Grandma Maurine was a strong lady that took on many challenges in her lifetime. Her most important job was raising three young girls by herself and turning them each into successful, happy women. She was a good mother and a wonderful grandma.
Marilyn, Grandma, and Sheri (my mom)

My mother has always been there to help me. Whether it's folding clothes, watching the kids, or supporting me through all of my activities.
Me, Sheri, and Matt

What will our children say someday about me? I hope they think they were happy as kids!
Virginia, Henry, and Goldie

Enjoy your day today...celebrate for all of the wonderful mothers in the world.

Oh, you really are brave! My Mother would have smacked my bottom for posting a picture of her with her finger in her nose!

I think your children will see these photos and all the others you have taken and will remember all the fun times. That last pic reminds me of my sister and me when we would play in the mud puddle after a spring rain. This was a lovely post
