My Co-Workers Rock!
Last Thursday I shared the award-winning quilt, Garden Frost , made by Dawn Cavanaugh of Ankeny, Iowa. Well, it wasn't her only quilt hanging at the 2010 MQS quilt show.
Lovely, Leonardo, Lovely was a team effort by two APQS employees. First, marketing guru Jim Langland, sketched his interpretation of a Leonardo da Vinci drawing on vibrant Ricky Tims fabric. Then Dawn, the APQS Director of Education , brought it to life with thread painting. Check out the detail.
