Inspiration Everywhere
Iowa is home to many great quilt shops and designers. Every year when I go to Quilt Market I see many of them either walking the isles or holding down their booths. You think that surely this year I'll see them IN Iowa at their location. How is it that time between Quilt Market flies so fast?
Leanne Anderson from Nashua, Iowa, is one of those people from my home state that I adore seeing. Her work is whimsical and fun. Her outlook is always positive. Her encouragement for my new adventures is appreciated.

Then there are those familar faces that you just can't put a name to. It might be they are "out of context" with how I know them or maybe it's just a bad memory setting in! But, when Deb Coates introduced herself I knew immediately who she was--a former quilt shop owner that had been featured in Quilt Sampler magazine. Today, she is designing and capturing pieces of the past with her projects under the pattern name Red Thread. Charming stuff.
