Oh So Purrrfect Pumpkins
Changing of the seasons means changing of the decorations! There's something refreshing about putting away the summer flowers and pulling out the fall harvest decor. This past Saturday we got to spend some time at my cousin Kari's store Home Sweet Home.
How could I resist these woolen treasures. I wasn't sure if the cat looked like our feline friend Chuck or if the grin on this cat was more like Virginia's Cheshire Cat grin that she's been showcasing in photos lately. No matter what you think, I thought he was adorable. And, the googly eye pumpkin is just a hoot--it's like his eyes are always looking at me. Don't you think the cat and pumpkin need names? Chuck and Sam. Hoot and Holler. Let me know what you think!

The tall green wool pumpkin was probably my favorite of the surrounding pumpkins.

I really like the tall green wool pumpkin!! After seeing your names I'm not coming up with anything different. I just bought a pumpkin made from an old chenille bedspread (dyed orange)here at Artist Community in Gatlinburg, TN JoAnn

Love those wooly pumpkins. I like the names Hoot and Holler but on looking at them again, I'd name them "Grins" and "Googles".
