Inspirational Quotes
If you can't fly, run. If you can't run, walk. If you can't walk, crawl.
But by all means, keep moving.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
I find quotes to be very inspiring to me. Sometimes they hit a feeling or an emotion right on head and I have that yes, that's it moment.
One of favorites...
If you rest, you rust.
Helen Hayes
Both of these quotes show my desire to keep moving forward. There are days when I can't seem to move fast enough! I'm a multi-tasker and I love to have multiple things juggling at once. It makes my day interesting and ever changing. But I recently dropped one of those many balls and it went crashing to the floor (don't worry, no one died and at the end of the day all will be ok) but it wasn't good and it reminded me that as much as I desire to move forward at the speed of light, I need to stop and take one step at a time, one foot in front of the other--slowly, or at least slower. It was funny how after this ball was dropped I read a quote "to error is human, to bounce back divine." I am human. (Dang, I thought I was super human!) I'm bouncing back, with new ideas of how to better keep the plates all spinning at the top of those little sticks. What's that great quote...I'm going to work smarter, not harder. Yeah, that's it.
What quotes or sayings or words do you live by? Maybe you can inspire me!

Heidi--When I was teaching eighth grade, the students were required to find quotations. One student brought me one that she had picked out for me:
Organized people are just too lazy to look for stuff.
Yup. Agreed!
Well, another I really liked was: When it's dark enough, you can see the stars.
When things are tough, we need to remember that!

I love quotes and have collected them for years. My favorite one is more quilt/fabric related.
"I never get tired of looking at my fabric. It's like looking at a beautiful garden that never goes to seed".

I have one for you." Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is. The way you deal with it is what makes the difference.
Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent."

"It all works out in the end"......that's what my Grandma Goldie would say when soemthing went a little wrong but could soon be made right. That one has seen me through some really tough circumstances. Two of my moms favorites "Don't put all your eggs in one basket" and "Don't count your chickens before they are hatched".
I love that "bounce back" quote.
