Homeward Bound

Homeward Bound is the name I chose for the quilt we are donating to the AASV annual fundraising auction. The auction is approaching quickly and I wonder how it will be received. Love the list of auction items--football, hunting, fishing....and a quilt.

Didn't Emily Keller do an awesome job quilting on her APQS  long-arm quilting machine!

I really like the simplicity of the block. It was easy to piece! Recently, I purchased fabrics to re-make this quilt in two twin-bed-size quilts for the girls. Now that my camera is back from getting fixed (that was the longest 7 weeks ever!), I'll take some pictures of those fabrics and post them next.

This is a beautiful quilt and yes, Emily did a lovely job with the machine quilting!! Thanks to your retreat last March, I learned what really good machine quilting looks like. I have a much more discerning eye thanks to all that you and Dawn shared about machine quilting!!
