A New Day
When I spent the summer in New Milford, CT, on a college internship, I learned lots! At the top of the list was how much I enjoy sunrises and sunsets. Those are moments when the day is awakening and you see all of the excitement of the day in front of you. Or reflects how the day turned out as the sun sets. And, the reminder that tomorrow is a new day.
While attending the AQS Lancaster show, I saw this quilt made by Judy Robinson Ehrnst of Springville, Alabama. She calls it "Judy in the Sky with Stitches." The colors and the stitching were just beautiful. I wonder if she enjoys sunrises and sunsets as much as I do.

Great things are not done by impulse, but by a
series of small things brought together.

One of the most beautiful quilts ever, Judy is a gifted artist. Thanks for sharing!
